For many years, disability service organizations in Minnesota have endured mostly funding freezes and cuts from the State of Minnesota. As a result, Bear Creek Services relies on donations to fully fund the programs.
In 2018, an additional 7% funding cut for disability services began to phase in. This reduction magnifies the need for fundraising. For 2019, the Board of Directors that oversees Bear Creek Services set a goal to raise $500,000 to fully fund the support services for the more than 100 people who participate in the programs.
Receiving monthly donations allow us to better budget and plan the program budgets. Thank you for considering a monthly gift to support the people in our programs.
